Apex Bankıng In Development Fınance Apex banking (whole sale banking) applications that are widespread practices of development banks has taken its place in Development Bank of Turkey’s product set as a major lending tool in serving small size firms. In this model, Kalkınma makes loans extended to companies through on lending(commercial) banks which have wide branch network.   Development Bank of Turkey determines the target group/market and its needs in developing own projects within the framework of its corporate mission and negotiate the terms and conditions of apex financing with on lending banks. The primary objectives of the projects are supporting job creation and competitiveness of the firms.   Two apex banking projects have been completed, and those targets such as regional, company scales and created jobs, have been achieved.
